Director of Customer Operations & Service Telefonica
Eduardo de Santos is born in Spain,1972, holding a Telecommunication
Engineering Superior Honours Degree at Polytechnic University of Madrid and postgraduate
studies in Marketing and business and directive skill in ESADE business school.
Joined Telefonica 23 years ago (1995), starting his carrier in the
Technical area. Eduardo´s professional carrier moved in several areas,
including 4 years in Telefonica´s Austrian subsidiary in Vienna, as Network
Planning & Engineering director and afterwards Wholesale Services director.
After this international experience, moved back to Spain where his professional
carrier was progressively moving to commercial areas, all at International
Services Business Unit of Telefónica Wholesale, first as Product Marketing
Deputy Director, later Sales Support Deputy Director and finally Head of
Telepresence Business Unit.
The last 10 years, in Telefonica Headquarters with responsibility over
all Telefonica OBs, first in Central Procurement department, and currently in
Global CTIO unit, where his role is Customer Service Delivery Director,
area where worldwide Telefonica has a yearly budget of +2,1 B€ in customer
support, ftth industrialization and Service Operation Service centres (driving
the transformation from network to customer centric approach).
